What is COSMIC²?

Cryo-EM Open Source Multiplatform Infrastructure for Cloud Computing

COSMIC² is a freely available web platform for submitting cryo-EM jobs through the cloud to Expanse, a San Diego Supercomputer Center cluster.  COSMIC² will serve as a tool to provide users with freely available computing time for:

• Protein structure prediction
• Single particle cryo-EM
• Cryo-electron tomography
• Sub-tomogram averaging
• Atomic model building

The goal of COSMIC² is to remove all computing bottlenecks and headaches from structural biology. As such, we provide users with freely available computing time to run routines at the San Diego Supercomputer Center.
