      Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born on 7 July 1981 in Ranchi, Bihar (now Jharkhand). He is a former Indian cricketer quite famous in India and rose to prominence in the early 21st century. Under his illustrious captaincy, He is known as the world no 1 wicket-keeper. The Indian national team won the One Day Cricket World Cup in 2011.
